Description
This little pudu is nibbling on some leaves. These tiny deer are the smallest species of deer in the world. They are indigenous to South America. The name is a loanword from Mapudungun, the language of the indigenous Mapuche people of central Chile and south-western Argentina. They’re generally about a foot tall and about a yard long. She is such a cute little gem, I think she’ll brighten up any room.
