The 2nd in my new Sumi Moon series. Diana, the goddess of the moon and the hunt, has as her symbols, the deer and the moon. My 2 year old son is currently obsessed with the moon and so now am I. Finding the names of the places where the astronauts landed, reading moon poetry….
These paintings are done with black and silver ink on blue lokta paper. They measure about 5×7. These Silhouettes seem to evoke wood block prints, which is another medium I love.
